The Society of the Infant Jesus is registered as a charity under the Charities Act.

 To promote devotion to the Infant Jesus by prayer; telling others about the Infant Jesus; and perform acts of charity in the name of the Infant Jesus. |
| To provide assistance to the Carmelite Friars in its mission of faith formation and vocation e.g. formation of seminarians in Singapore and Asia. |

To promote religious and educational activities (especially for the youth).

To undertake projects for works with other charitable organizations to build homes, classrooms, orphanages in Singapore, Asian region and beyond.

|
|
To accept donations of money and to raise funds from the church community and well-wishers to fund the Society's activities.
